The base of all our mueslis is Australian-grown rolled oats (except our Gluten Free which does not contain oats). Oats are full of fibre, which is necessary to maintain good digestive and bowel health. Rolled oats can also help you maintain a healthy weight by keeping you feeling fuller for longer. They are low-GI, with a score of under 55.

Puffed Rice

Our Gluten Free muesli is packed full of Australian puffed rice which is naturally free from gluten. It is a great combination of high fibre, protein, and complex carbohydrates. Puffed rice is low in calories and enriched with extra vitamins and minerals.

Rice Bran

Rice bran is made from a combination of rice flour and shreds of extruded rice bran with prune juice, naturally gluten free. Rice bran is particularly high in B vitamins like thiamine, niacin and B6, which play a vital role in energy production, cardiovascular health and warding off depression.

Sunflower Seed Kernels

Australian sunflower seeds are the fruit of the sunflower. They have a smooth, nutty flavour and crunchy texture. Sunflower seeds help lower blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar as they contain vitamin E, magnesium, protein, linoleic fatty acids and several plant compounds. These nutrient-rich seeds are a great natural, plant-based source of Omega-3 fatty acids, and dietary fibre.


Pepitas are the edible seed of a pumpkin. Typically, flat and oval, pepitas are a good source of fibre, magnesium, iron, zinc, and plant-based Omega-3 fatty acids. These mighty seeds are packed with cell protective antioxidants, which help fend off premature ageing and chronic diseases.

Shredded Coconut

Organic shredded coconut is simply made from organic flesh; dried and shredded. It is a good source of fibre, low in sodium, gluten, and cholesterol free, with a slightly sweet flavour. Chia seeds have a soft outer shell that does not need to be ground. They have a neutral flavour, making it easy to add to sweet or savoury dishes.


Here at Sussanne's Pantry Muesli we love cinnamon!! It is a spice used by many cultures for its versatility in both sweet and savoury foods. Cinnamon is one of the most delicious and healthiest spices on the planet. It can help lower blood sugar levels, reduce heart disease, and is loaded with antioxidants.


Australian flaked almonds contain lots of healthy fats, fibre, protein, magnesium, and vitamin E. The health benefits include lower blood sugar levels and reduced blood pressure. They have been blanched to remove their outer skins and then sliced into thin flakes.


Australian macadamia nuts are one of my favourite nuts, especially covered in dark chocolate, but that is another story! They are a large nut which I felt was too big for a bowl of muesli. I decided to use pieces as I wanted to keep the rich buttery flavour and crunchy texture. They are rich in vitamins, minerals, fibre, antioxidants, and healthy fats.

An extra-special ingredient in our Baked variety is organic coconut nectar which is tapped straight from the coconut blossom. It is naturally sweet, low glycaemic, nutrient rich, and contains 17 amino acids and a range of vitamins & minerals.
